Content Developer

We're looking for a Marketing Content Manager to develop and manage all marketing content across multiple mediums to communicate and reinforce company positioning, branding, and value propositions. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing communications programs and content (e.g. product copy, catalog copy, internal and external communications, sales collateral, packaging content, web content, promotional programs, public relations, videos, and social media content) to support company strategic objectives.


DUTIES

  • Develop and write compelling, dynamic, and integrated content that engages and supports all marketing communication objectives including product copy, catalog, packaging, website and blog content, collateral, presentations, email, press releases, advertising, and editorial placements, white papers and case studies; creating audience specific messaging.
  • Work with the Marketing team to support the execution of marketing programs and campaigns with targeted content for vehicles including direct mail, email, webinars, events, press releases, and social media to drive revenue with existing customers and prospects.
  • Support Sales team activities by identifying, prioritizing, and delivering new marketing communication deliverables.
  • Work cross functionally with Product Development, Marketing, and Creative Services teams to facilitate new products launches including product naming and supporting copy needs.
  • Manage the Company's presences on social media channels with effective content and messaging to maximize all channels; manage social media monitoring, measurement and analysis; reporting to internal stakeholder.
  • Provide oversight and editorial review of content provided by internal or external partners.
  • Translate creative direction and content needs or copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts while ensuring copy tone and style are consistent with brand requirements.
  • Produce and maintain a content calendar and comprehensive Marketing Communications Plan that outlines goals, key corporate/product messages, and communication vehicles to be leveraged.
  • Build a strong and cohesive team of direct and indirect reports through coaching, development, motivation and empowerment. Drive performance through alignment of goals, ongoing feedback and periodic appraisal.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related major.
  • Minimum 5+ years of marketing, content and writing experience in a corporate setting.
  • Proven expertise in content marketing and writing including translating business goals and strategies into actionable and measurable marketing communications campaigns.
  • Outstanding writing, messaging, copywriting and storytelling skills and portfolio of published writing/collateral examples exhibiting versatile writing styles capturing necessary tone and voice for a variety of brands.
  • Experience developing, managing, and measuring social media strategies within a corporate setting.
  • Track record of excellence in delivering on message quickly, with quality content across multiple mediums including web.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency including adherence to brand standards.
  • Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders as well as experience managing external vendors: PR agencies, etc.
  • Experience effectively collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Experience with product naming and packaging copy preferred.
  • Experience managing a small team of direct reports preferred.
